The PID controllers are all tested before shipment.

I suspect the PID controller has been damaged, possibly by the removal of its housing which is not part of the assembly process and voids any sort of warranty. It is possible that once the cover was removed the PID controller was damaged either physically or by shorting against something.

While we are happy to replace defective parts, we are not able to do so in this case for the above reason. Additionally defective/damaged parts need to be reported within 30 days of receipt in order to be replaced:

https://www.filastruder.com/pages/shipp … nformation

It looks like your shipment was delivered about 60 days ago.

If you would like to purchase a PID controller from us, you can use this link:

https://www.filastruder.com/products/other-parts

The cost is $20. This is our cost as well - we wouldn't be profiting on the replacement PID controller.

Sorry I assembled as per your instructions and I removed the cover after repeated trying why the display is not working. I think to check the soldering so I removed it. But it was quite good as my electrical technicians (UNI) said it was fine with capacitors and everything. So I just approached here to find what happens exactly.

I did not kept PID into alu.chasis I just want to test run that every thing works well with electrical, motor fitting so I just assembled the main chassis parts and checked electrical connections. Hence I got the this problem later only I tried to open that cover with white bracket inside the same box.

In the video that you emailed, the PID controller's cover has been removed. Doing this is not part of the assembly process and may have damaged the internals of the PID controller, perhaps by the bare PCB brushing against the metal chassis for example. Please do not operate the PID controller with the cover removed.
