We don't do that in the shop, and we don't recommend it to customers. If a X or Y carriage breaks we just swap out the whole printer carriage. It is faster, easier, and fool proof.

Also, I am unaware of any complaints about the actual carriage parts.

Again, we make the parts available to anyone who wants them. Just not the files.

This isn't a problem that typically comes up. He haven't had a user break their parts during use (that we know.) Sometimes parts are broken during shipping, we replace those for free.

But no, we do not provide the STL files.
