<![CDATA[SoliForum - 3D Printing Community — Form Labs developing a smaller SLS printer....]]> 2017-06-13T17:03:47Z PunBB https://www.soliforum.com/topic/16509/form-labs-developing-a-smaller-sls-printer/ <![CDATA[Re: Form Labs developing a smaller SLS printer....]]> It's not really a matter of "wanting" the cleanup table.  It's a requirement, but you only need to buy one.  If you buy more printers you can share.   Looks like Desktop Factory was 10 years too soon and $5000 too cheap.  Looking at what is required for SLS, and assuming that Form1 has made theirs as small and cheap as they could get it, I wonder if actual desktop sized version was ever going to be feasible.

Formlabs is developing an SLS printer (supposedly) for "home" use.
I personally do not see it so much as a "home" use machine, but for a small business - yes, most definitely.
