I'd be interested in running HDPE, too. Even so, the experience of people who deal in HDPE filament might be instructive.

I'm starting a thesis in plastics recycling and cannot find a reasonable priced extruder for plastic recyclates. PLA & ABS only extruders are of no interest, HDPE is most important, PET second with others (PP, PS etc as a bonus). Any help that sends me in a  particular direction would be most appreciated! In terms of selfbuild, I am already finding it impossible to get anyone to machine a hex bar for my shredder kit - so unfortunately it needs to be completed machine or very near to it...........
