You must find the correct value for your machine. Adjust it a bit and see if it gets better or worse and then adjust again accordingly.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>i simply tune by performance &amp; appearance while the printer is running.</p><p>set it up to print a single wall cube - no infill.<br />then while it is printing, adjust the voltage down (using either a ceramic or plastic screwdriver - NO metal!) until the moire goes away - or until the the extruder motor starts skipping - whichever comes first... small increments have a big impact so go slowly</p><p>it is one of those things that you &quot;should&quot; be able to tune out if you are patient, but sometimes it will not go away completely without other consequences.</p><p>if the motor starts to skip steps, you will want to turn it back up a little</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;m no expert, but my SD2 has this same issue and it&#039;s been recommended to me to fine tune the voltage for the stepper motor that drives the extruder.</p>]]></content>

I&#039;ve a Self made vulcanus with MK7 direct drive extrusion system and i have a big problem called &quot;Moire&quot;</p><p>In big prints like the botom image i dont care of it.. it creates a cool diagonal surface.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://soliforum.com/i/?GAPrH2s.jpg" alt="http://soliforum.com/i/?GAPrH2s.jpg" /></span></p><p>When i print small objects in high quality the surface is awfull...
