Move your bed to the bottom then send a home command and watch the bed. I bet it wobbles just like the lines in your print. Either your guide rods are bent or there is something loos in the Z axis.

I just did my first large print and it has some inconsistent lines along the surfaces.

The lines are only on the 2 sides of the print, and it was printed diagonally on the print bed due to the size. 

And idea what is causing this issue?

Printer is an Anet A8.
