I am wondering if the plastic spring shown in the image can be removed or replaced with something else to prevent the hot end from pivoting back into the X-axis. It pivots about the bearing on the rod the hot end rides on. I know this is by design but I would like to have a more rigid mounting and prevent it from moving when setting the initial height to the bed.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
