			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I have the motor acceleration set to 100 same as the others but i think the steps on the table stepper are wacky the end number is 2750 that doesn&#039;t look right to me but that&#039;s what it came out to to get the bed to move a correct distance still checking whats going on ordered a motor just in case pretty cheap at $14</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Sounds like the acceleration is set too high. Or there is another swtting but I cant remember it that controls the speed at which the motor steps. Yours sounds as if it is too high.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I got the steps per MM figured out but then all of a sudden my z motor starts acting crazy it&#039;s starts screaming and the suddenly moves so i took it out gave it a good look over don&#039;t see anything obvious put it back in the machine and tested it via the on board move&#039;s through the screen same condition so it&#039;s ether the motor or the board gone down don&#039;t think it&#039;s the board because it try&#039;s to drive the motor <br />can&#039;t find the number for the motor on the housing would you know what the number is</p>]]></content>

That will tell you how far it is traveling.</p>]]></content>

You know now that your printer is moving twice the distance it is supposed to so try doubling the steps per mm or split them in half. I forget which way they need to go to make the moves smaller. Normally no it will not loose settings but Repetier can write settings to the EEPROM in the printer which is now the SDcard. Those settings override the settings that are normally set in firmware.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Sounds like your steps per mm are set wrong in the firmware. You need to adjust them on all axis including the extruder so that you get the expected move distance. As well as the expected feed amount on the extruder.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello to all <br />it&#039;s been quite a while since i have been on this forum that&#039;s because i have not had an issue with my 3d printer but as it happens my hard drive went down and i had to replace it and upgrade my OS to win 10, i have a da vinci 1.0 running repetier .92 firmware and i am using repetier 1.06 here&#039;s my problem and i hope someone can help with an answer i have the printer connected and it responds the setting&#039;s are exact copy of what i had orignally in repetier 1.06 but here&#039;s my problem when i requist a move in manual mode the extruder moves twice the amount i asked for so if i ask for a move of 10 MM it moves way more then it is supposed to and i can&#039;t figure out why i have gone over everything gone into windows and made sure nothing is weird there.</p><p> thanks in advance for any help.<br /> Oh and i tried repetier 1.62 same problem</p><br /><p>Dennis</p>]]></content>
