			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>It was the bed plate, I had to use shims to level it as the stock way of levelling doesnt seem to work too well.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>your bed is not level <br />also do not use paper <br />use a metal&nbsp; feeler Gage or a strip of beverage can in a pinch. </p><p>You have to check in at least 4 places on the bed not just one <br />Looks like you checked in the middle of the bed and the left side is too high and the right side too low.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>First thing I would try is re-levelling with just one sheet of paper, 2 sheets is probably too big a gap.<br />That should squish the 1st layer right down onto the bed. <br />If not, I would just keep raising the bed a fraction at a time till you get it right.<br />With mine, I can hardly seen any gap between the nozzle and the bed and I get great 1st layer adhesion with PLA and ABS.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Da Vinci Jr. Can't get the first layer down]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>OK so I have a new Da Vinci Printer where I can&#039;t get the first layer to stick down. I have tried glue and blue painters tape. I&#039;ve also tried levelling the x-axis, setting the z-axis nozzle height to 2 sheets of paper and cleaned the nozzle and filament gears. Why oh why won&#039;t it stick???</p>]]></content>
