You may also want to hook a ohm meter to the heater wires unplugged from the board all turned off .
wires could be broken inside the insulation . Lose contact when flexed.

Hook a meter up to your power supply and see if the 12 or 24 volts is dropping when the motors start running. Your power supply may be getting bad and can't supply enough current for all the functions.

I did trace the wires and all looks good! I don't understand why it only stops heating the nozzle while printing. As soon as I pause the print (because it stops extruding due to the cool temperature of the nozzle) it begins to heat back up.

Trace your heater wires back to the board and inspect your connections. This can be a common problem with the stock hotends assuming you have not upgraded.

I have a solidoodle printer (I think its the "2"). For some reason, the nozzle is cooling down during print (this was not happening last week). As soon as I pause the printer it immediately begins to heat back up. Any suggestions?? I have something that I need to get printed today....
