			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Got a good print, put it up on thinigiverse.<br /><a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1905814">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1905814</a><br />Using Repetier Host with its built in Cura - will try standalone Slic3r to add more perimeters at top as suggested.<br />Thanx to everyone here for 2 years of tips and mods for that @#$%$ Press which now works.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>it kind of depends on how many perimeters you are using... a single wall will have issues at the top. <br />3 or 4 will print much more cleanly, especially if you use a fine layer height. </p><p>the stand alone version of Slic3r does have the capability of changing layer heights at specific points. you can use a larger layer height for the bulk of the print, then reduce it for the top few.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>The domed top should not give you too much of a problem printing without support.&nbsp; Each previous layer should offer a good foundation for the next.&nbsp; Make sure to turn off Support in your slicer.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>About to print some fake 1920&#039;s 01A vacuum tube replacements with clear ABS, modelled in openscad, see BMP.<br />Will a hollow sphere (tube top) print without internal support, &#039;cause the top is pretty flat? Tube diameter is about 35mm.<br />Don&#039;t want to print &quot;glass&quot; part upside down or multipart as I want the tube top to be smooth and round.<br />Black tube base prints just fine as separate part.</p><p>Any slicing or printing suggestions?</p>]]></content>
