			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>you should be getting a link-local ip address in the 169.254.*.* range if you&#039;re connecting directly...<br />This ip address will change randomly, so it&#039;s&nbsp; best to set up a static ip that wont collide with your other networks, eg 192.168.15.1 on your pc, and 192.168.15.2 on the pi, with a netmask of 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.15.1 on both devices.</p><p>You shouldn&#039;t need a crossover cable unless your computer is pre-2005, all current ethernet ports have auto mdi-x.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Is it possible to connect the atlas 3d direct to a computer with a ethernet cable? I&#039;ve been unable to get an IP address. Wireless still works but I&#039;m going somewhere where I won&#039;t have access to a router or wireless connection.</p>]]></content>
