42 centimeters per minute is 17 inches per minute. This is within design specification for the Filastruder - the advertised speed is 10-36 inches per minute in most conditions/with most polymers.

I don't know how you were achieving 250grams/hour, that is the fastest I've ever heard of on a 1.75mm Filastruder.

As for the motor loading, 1 amp is about right, especially with ABS, at 1.5-1.6 amps, wear on the motor and gearbox is increased.

The melt filter nozzle does increase flow restriction, so I would expect it to result in a reduced speed.

I'm unclear on what you mean about how you moved the auger, and I'm not sure what effect your polishing of the auger might have.

Today I measured productivity and it was unpleasantly upset. 42 centimeters per minute. Before I executed a polish of the screw and after that measured speed-330gramm in 1 hour 40 minutes (250gr/hour), filawinder hardly managed to wind, not bad yes? At that moment I used a nozzle without melt filter. As soon as I put this nozzle (a photo lower), productivity fell to 42sm/mines, i.e. 59gr/hour. I use pa756, with MFI-40 and colorant.
Still I want to note brought closer a screw tip to the 2-3rd to a nozzle. Why I can't load the engine stronger (0,9A)? Without filter the engine worked at a limit - 1,3-1,5A.
