How are your prints looking with the new motor?

That was quicker than I expected. If you look at that picture you can see the pins inserted into the connector, they are ordered from left to right    blue  red   green   black
That's coming from the motor to the factory plug. I just wrapped white electrical tape over the solder joints to protect them from crossing with another wire. If that doesn't work for some reason it doesn't take much time to figure out what order will spin the motor in the right direction.

If I ever find the correct connector I'll switch those pins out for that.

what i mean by extra cables.
i mean that if they had the sensor stuff as me, there must be some cables hanging.
But they just removed them

And i do hack my NFC tag's if that is what u mean with ''chips'' ?

i got the password for one of the original NFC tags and i use my phone to change the length on fill thats on the spool, and that work grate

with my old (original) feeding-system ther is some kind of a contact and a little fotocell something.
i can't see that on yours ? and cant see the cables.

Can i just leave them hanging  ?

Or have you updated the firmware ?

i have the XYZ jr.1

What version of firmware do you have on your JR? If you have anything lower than 2.2.7 "DO NOT UPGRADE IT!". If you intend to hack your chips they will only work on firmware lower than 2.2.7.

I am using the xyz tags but I don't have the programming experience to know how to sniff the passwords and modify anything. What I can do is take a couple chips that the password has been discovered by someone else who has that ability and rewrite the remaining filament length. I can't do anything for you in that department though.

I was not asking for programming help. I was asking if you might be interested in a program to make updating easier? I wrote this and have shared it with people who were interested. This is my way of contributing back to the community. See attached.

BTW, are you still using XYZ Tags? If so, I do have some software that makes updating them a lot easier, but you still need to have the password.
