			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Carl is right. te 0 Reading sounds like a concretion issue. been there Those little connectors can slip and be finicky . It can be a case of the meter readings check fine but the inner connector does not connect to the male pin on the board.&nbsp; <br />Unless you are in a freezer a 0 reading on a heater is a red flag.&nbsp; Disconnect or op on the thermisistor</p><p>Tin</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Everyone is always quick to blame the firmware. Any time I train somebody to troubleshoot I always tell them to go back to the basics. Confirm connections, confirm voltages, and so on. The and only then if nothing else is to blame then you can take a look at the firmware. But don&#039;t think about just downloading it and flashing it will fix your problem. Most of the time the problem is sitting there yelling at you but you are too focused on the firmware or something else to see it.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<div class="quotebox"><cite>Edwin wrote:</cite><blockquote><p>Here is the link I downloaded</p><p><a href="https://github.com/mlaws/solidoodle2-marlin">https://github.com/mlaws/solidoodle2-marlin</a></p><p>Since I do not have this printer and in Germany no one knows that was the most coherent version for me</p></blockquote></div><p>He doesn&#039;t want to use that version nor is this a firmware issue.</p><p>@ jrcyscon, I&#039;m not sure why you always want to default to firmware as being the source of your problems.&nbsp; You have a bad connection to your thermistor or the board itself is simply failing.&nbsp; <br />Thermistor issues are easy to troubleshoot with a DMM.&nbsp; The firmware version you listed is the same as the one I put on that board.&nbsp; It worked then and would have no reason to stop functioning unless you&#039;ve re flashed it since.&nbsp; If so, I can&#039;t think of a single good reason why one would do that.<br />Start with the basics and troubleshoot the actual area (thermistor and wiring) that&#039;s giving you the problems.&nbsp; Flashing firmware isn&#039;t some magic bullet that will fix other issues.&nbsp; <br />If the board is failing then it&#039;s simply time to save your money and upgrade to something better.<br />Even then the firmware version listed in the WIKI is still the best version for your configuration.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I had the latest official version considered because your version is a beta version which are mostly still flawed.<br />I must be back in the work and then I see times over, but that might be difficult. I have used something before short for one of my printer and I had to change a lot before this firmware has been run.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>if you are getting a temp reading of 0.00 for the hotend, there is a problem with the thermistor - either in the wiring or the thermistor itself. you need to correct it before it will work. </p><p>that is one of the &quot;features&quot; built into marlin - if a thermistor is not reading correctly it will not allow the heaters to be turned on.</p>]]></content>

I followed the instructions from this site: <a href="http://www.soliwiki.com/Updating_Solidoodle_Firmware">http://www.soliwiki.com/Updating_Solidoodle_Firmware</a></p><p>I changed all the &quot;#define&quot; from the Configuration H file very carefully and double checked it all for errors. At first, I would get the M999 error, but then i read online that I needed to change my bed temp to 115, and so I did. Now the error is gone but it still wont heat the extruder or bed. Strange.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I managed to get the motherboard working by reflashing and now ALMOST everything works. The issue i have now is my extruder and bed dont heat. My extruder stays at 0.00 while my bed jumps between 25.10 - 25.90. Any ideas?</p>]]></content>
