			<title type="html"><![CDATA[3D Vertex Painting in MeshMixer]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>For the past couple of weeks I&#039;ve been using my EinScan-S Scanner to scan a few things, and unlike the Atlas 3D scanner which I also use previously, this unit is primarily intended to produce a mesh, color scanning is an afterthought that doesn&#039;t work very well. </p><p>So I did try digitally painting a model before, but never seriously tried it.&nbsp; Last night I started doing some 3D vertex painting using MeshMixer.&nbsp; Painting in MeshMixer is very similar to painting a real model, except it&#039;s digital and in 3 dimensions.&nbsp; The feature is not documented very well, and it took me a while just to&nbsp; figure out how to pick colors (not from the color picker but from the screen).</p><p>The model below of the Hulkbuster is not done yet, but here is what can be achieved in a couple of hours of work</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;item=10054" alt="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;amp;item=10054" /></span></p>]]></content>
