So a week ago my DaVinci 1.0 started giving me the infamous 0011 error because the extruder wouldn't heat. I watched it and it would take 15 minutes to get to 180 C and it would never get past there before the printer gave me the error. So I checked the connector for the heating element and sure enough it was loose, hot to the touch, and when I wiggled it it cause the lights in the printer to flicker. So I cut the connector off and soldered it in. The problem seemed fixed but now the last couple days I've been getting the 0011 code randomly. Whenever it happens if I reboot the printer and immediately restart the print then the extruder is able to head up all the way.

Im stumped at what could be causing this though. My solder connections are solid, everything is electrically insulated with heat shrink. I checked the connection at the motherboard and everything is solid there too.

EDIT: I've noticed since the weather has been hotter that the printers power supply fan has been running really loud. I'm wondering if the power supply is too hot and its causing it to be unable to deliver enough power to the extruder heater. Im going to try opening the back panel and blowing some cool air in with a PC fan.

EDIT 2: Done a couple prints now with the back panel open and a cooling fan blowing on the PSU and so far it seems to have alleviated the issue. The power supply fan is much quieter now and the air from the exhaust is also a lot cooler.
