I printed these 9 at a time at .3mm using RH/slic3r with Octave Natural filament. Print time was around 1hr20mins per plate. I found that stopping it at layer 25 of 26 made inserting my buckyballs a lot easier.
I was asked to teach some 3rd graders about magnets today with and these came in real handy. The kids enjoyed trying to create structures with them, and I think the fact that they werent your normal square design really helped them think about connecting them in different ways. I also brought in some ferrofluid and did some magic with my magnetic implant. I think they had some good fun for the hour presentation.
