			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Just because the original Davinci utilizes snap rings and m3 threads, shouldn&#039;t mean you need to use them with upgraded rods.&nbsp; Especially the X carriage if desperate enough you could hot glue them in place <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/wink.png" width="15" height="15" alt="wink" /></p><p>I am more interested to see if anyone has replaced the rods, if they have the dimensions and tips on replacements.&nbsp; Will a prusa kit work? </p><p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00X1C5DD8/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&amp;condition=all">https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing … dition=all</a></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>You have to buy rods that are longer then have them cut down and the grooves machined into them. No one makes a drop in replacement.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p><p>I have a 1.0a that has almost been completely replaced.&nbsp; Thinking about replacing at least the X rods with the steel hardened cousins, so I can setup a dual extruder with real bearings. </p><p>Does anyone have the length/width dimensions for X/Y rod replacements?&nbsp; I believe they are 8mm and around 380 (for the X)?&nbsp; Having a hard time finding the measurements and where to custom order these things.&nbsp; Ultimately if I can verify the length i might mount them differently.&nbsp; It appears finding snap ring groves and M3 threads is the toughest parts.&nbsp; </p><br /><br /><p>Thanks,<br />Jim</p>]]></content>
