So far the ABS prints have been just as good if not better than xyzware.

Faster and more options for slicing, ability to fix some object issues inside the application. Prints directly to the printer. Faster and over all friendly interface. Is it worth $150. USD? Depends on how much your time, productivity and sanity is worth.

I think it's Sooo much better than the XYZware. I've used it on about 5 small projects now with S3D default settings and had little to no problems. There's no click and wait in S3D. Menus open instantly, slicing is way fast. Prints directly to the printer via USB or Wi-Fi. You don't have to export to xyzware and print. It does allow you to watch the temperatures, and watch the temps plot on a graph.

Note: Because the DaVinci Pro 1.0's firmware is locked down some of the S3D functions don't work. For instance in the Machine Control panel, you can't use the software to jog the platform or print head around, and the bed leveling wizard doesn't work. You still need XYZware to configure the Wi-Fi connection and update printer firmware.

Great. So where can I download it? I refuse to pay $149 until I have a chance to verify it actually works... That's just stupid money to pay for a product that the people on their own forums complain simply does not work as advertised...
