So, to sum, depressing the Y-Axis endstop still sends a signal and reading that it is TRIGGERED.

Also, I do not have loose belts.

Alright, sorry guys, had a busy weekend (20 pages of calculations due, woo!).

I just gave this all a try

Here is what happened:

I sent the M119 command while all where home, I received:

x_max: TRIGGERED
y_max: TRIGGERED
z_max: TRIGGERED

Then, I tried what heartless suggested, and moved each individual carriage into the center and sent the Z-axis down.

I then ran the M119 command again and sent the X and Z home, since I know those work. They gave me a TRIGGERED again, but the y_max was still open. (Again, hitting Y-home just gives me a flicker on the light but no movement).

I did move the Y-Motor a little during the movement of the other carriage on accident and felt resistance, so I know it has power and is working.

along the top of RH is a "Toggle Log" - click on that to enable the log report at the bottom

with the carriages away from the endstops, send the M119 command and it will give a status report of the endstops

then, send one axis at a time to the "home" position (start with the 2 axis that are working correctly) and after each one is homed, again send the M119 command to get a status report.

Alternatively, you can manually depress each endstop in turn and send the command to get a status report. (hold it until after the command reports status)

Yep then do it again while holding each end stop down one at a time see if the states change.

In the G-code command line enter M119 and read the output log to see what the endstops are reporting.
All on the manual control panel in RH

Sorry Kronik, very nooby here. So, I'm using repetier, move the Y-axis manually to the stop itself, and then do what?

Going to bump this one, and maybe get some help from wardjr too.

I have the same issue now occurring. In a previous post I talked about my heatbed giving out. I fixed that issue by replacing the plug that is located just North of the Solidoodle logo on the board. Now, I have no Y-Response. When sending the Y-Axis home, I get a slight flicker in the machine and nothing. It will bunch up commands but never give me anything.

I checked the y-end stop plug located left of the Solidoodle Logo on the CB (Solidoodle 3) and it is perfectly fine, wires don't look damaged. Looks good. What could I be missing?

Your y endstop is not plugged in or otherwise has a bad connection.

Hi, me again.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a loose belt on a S3 and S4, but for some reason, manual control keeps not working. I get if the belt is loose the mount won't move, but normally that involves the motor at least trying to move and making a grunting noise. When I do manual control and tell it to try, it just doesn't respond. X and Z work fine, and I can get it to go to y-home, but it just won't even respond if I tell it to try to move in the y direction.

Even when the loose belt is fixed, the commands don't do anything on repeter host. Any help on this would be appreciated.
