I actually stumbled on that video yesterday and it did the trick.
I still had some warping in one corner but it was much better.

I used up my small amount of filament and now I'm waiting on more.

It will not connect.
When Virtual Printer is selected, the Connect button turns green.

Any idea's?

Do you need to plug the printer in after you configure Repetier to Com1?

HI, I'm attempting to set up my Solidoodle 3 for the first time.
I've installed Revetier and it seems to work.
I imported a stl file that I made in Maya.
ran it through Slicer
I thought I had the printer connected. The Connect button turned green.
When I hit Run Job, I can follow everything in the Manual window and it seems that Revetier thinks it's printing
but
I have not seen the printhead move yet.
The fans are on and it smelled warm but no movement.
I feel that this is a simple overlook on my part but really can't figgure it out.
Please help a noob get going.

How did you actually extrude?
My extruder is warmed up and ready to go

EDIT: ok, I hit Run and now it's building the model in Repetier.

I've already ran into a problem...

I've installed Repetier and imported a stl file.
I then ran the slicing button, which is still going at 23:45 as I type.
But, since the directions on the website seem to be for older software,
I can not figure out how to "reverse" the stock 3" filament from the extruder head... can anyone help me out?

Am I missing software or is it all done through Repetier?
