1st take offset measurements without brackets screwed on and then with the brackets to see if they are affecting level.
If they are but evenly (like 0.1/0.2/... off each corner) then that's not a problem. But if they are uneven then I'd suggest to grab pliers and straighten them out so you know they don't cause any problems.
In my case I've bent them so they don't touch the glass at all and stuck little "foam tape" underneath the bracket so it holds glass in place but doesn't matter if one of them is pushing harder or so.

Then calibrate with little paper cut squares. Usually it takes 3-4 rounds of measurement and levelling until you get level.

But I always do with the brackets on just to eliminate any flex.

@kr15_uk, I need to level my bed too because the z-offset is not enough. For me, the proper z-offset for each corner is:

1.95 back left
2.25 back right
1.40 front left
2.00 front right

So my question is, when you are adding the paper to each corner under the glass bed, do you screw on the brackets, then test the z-offset again, or do you test the z-offset without the brackets so it is easier to add or take out the papers?

@drmih - I'm pretty sure you've managed to get this sorted by now but if you didn't or anyone else is after the fix I'll post my experience and advice on the meter.

On XYZprinting's YouTube channel there are video tutorials on calibrating the bed (kind of a bed) by releasing 2x screws what makes X carriage lose and then you need to sandwich your PSU between bed surface and X carriage frame, when levelled tighten the screws and you should be all good. Should.
Didn't helped in my case. I'm pretty sure it's good start if you have your bed very uneven.
But before you go with this I'd suggest to take your Y carriage apart and ensure it's screwed tight and no damage can be found.
For fine adjustment I found that little paper cut squares are the best solution.
I had one side 2x paper sheets high but the other 3 and 4.
So I cut little paper squares and sandwiched them in the corners between bed metal frame and glass itself.
Effectively 1 and 2 paper squares on each corner.

My printer threw a wobbly over the weekend and due to a lifting test piece managed to block the extruder, or rather the pva built up around the nozzle and then inside which forced the metal shield off. This then continually grated on the bed so that there was hardly any tape left on the it. I eventually manged to get it all cleaned up but now the bed isn't quite flat, or the whole frame is off. As a print is starting the nozzle touches / digs in on the extreme right edge and then about a third of the was across it's about correct before leaving quite a heavy trace on the left side. I have adjusted the Z axis to try and minimise the digging in, but clearly the bed or frame needs leveling. Has anyone done this and are there any tips, as the margins are probably quite small?
