Well I have done the calibrations and just getting into bigger prints and I see the temp fluctuations and bed level critical. I get that part all mechanical and I can control. I have gotten better with the M codes and tuning the extruder, bed leveling etc but a few software questions tips would help:

1: Printer settings
there are several perimeter speeds. What are most people running and which ones seem most critical? I am around 25-35.for perimeter speed, the rest do not have as much impact but I keep all of them about the same

2: Infill speeds I run at 50-60

travel speeds at 75 for non moves

1st layer I run at 18-22mm It seems if I am too fast it pulls the brim or skirt too low I think it flows too much (but still drags across the layers) Now if I tweak the zstop to increase the gap then I get no stick. so I take the sticking and dragging slightly

3: Dragging. What are good settings for retraction I can see it pulling on infills especially. I am at 1.4mm and no z lift and 70mm/s2 for min area?

4: I think my flow and cal cubes are dialed in I play slightly with them based on model type. But I am at .3mm still do you have to lower by 1/3 for .1mm prints typically? what about speeds?

5: Acceleration. Mine are default at 9000 and 10000 what are people running? I see on small fast infill areas and with drag at lower levels the bed shakes alot I think this would help to be lower.

6: Support. What are good support for flat over hands like an upside down box? I used 1.5mm honeycomb seems like a lot of plastic. Maybe have much lower flowrat or bigger combs.

7" Infill: I still little confused on the infill perimeters. if I set infill to 1 that mean every layer will be solid? I get errors on models when i do this? So I set infill to 1 at .4 and then I set solid layers every 1 and I have bottom/top on 3-2 usually
So what I observed is bottom/top are solid on a 12 layer print but the middle layers still are .4 not solid. so the critical supported layer around6-8 are infill only then connected with support and it looks bad
