Currently the IDE is 1.6.8 and the DUE module 1.6.7, I am testing it for new release of FW based on 0.92.9
the current stable based on 0.92.3 is validated only with IDE 1.6.5 and Due 1.6.4 - as I do not have time to test/support all versions
But you are free to do what you want

I will let Luc comment on 1.6.8. I think I have seen that a few people have done it. As far as I know 1.5.8 or 1.6.5 are the best ones to use when going to Repetier on the DaVinci. I have had no issues that I know of with 1.6.5 per Luc's previous guidance to me.

I would suggest deleting your duplicate threads you made by accident.

Question for the Community/Luc or mpoffo

I am relatively new to the 3d Printing world and recently I purchased a DaVinci 1.0a ser#3F10A with FW 2.1.0. I wanted to follow Luc or mpoffo advise and flash my printer using the Arduino Due 1.6.5. However the latest version of the Due is up to 1.6.8. Has anything changed as far as the two files in Luc's github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-0.92 or anything else for that matter. The two files in particular are USBCore.ccp and Variant.ccp. Can someone verify if this is the case? or should I play it safe and download the 1.6.5 ver of the Due.

Thanks in Advance

Hector
