			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>i was printing a new extruder with my 9 days old SD2 to fix my mendel and put in a new J-head Mk IV with it.<br />the heat resistor failed on me before I could get the extruder printed and now I&#039;ve got 2 non-functional printers sitting around!</p>]]></content>

I know they have thermal paste in their shop, since it&#039;s on the extruder heatsink.</p><p>Really the ideal solution is for SD to use dedicated heater cartridges.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>umm Got a novel idea ,SD should furnish a&nbsp; spare resistor with new printers since that seems to be the part that fails 1st. That would cut down on down time at least.<br />I&nbsp; got a spare battery with my calipers, same principle</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I waited 7 weeks to get the printer and it failed in 16 days of use.Getting really frustrated as I have returned the&nbsp; failed part. They got it Thursday of last week. I ordered a New hotend on the 12th and its still shows pending .oh yea if your wondering I&nbsp; have emailed support several times and they say it will be taken care of. But when? So much for 2-3 business days! I guess in my case the squeaky wheel doesn&#039;t get the grease.</p>]]></content>

I would have repaired it myself if I&#039;d have known how long it was going to take. On the bright side, the replacement shipped on Friday and is currently at the Los Angeles sorting facility. With luck, I&#039;ll have it tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest. You can log into your order page at Solidoodle&nbsp; and see if they have shipped parts to you yet. I wish I&#039;d have known that 2 weeks ago when I thought the parts were on their way and ran to the mailbox after work each day ;-)</p><p>TiM</p>]]></content>

SD should &quot; overnight&quot; a replacement.(imho) I have been down over a week now.Very frustrating waiting&nbsp; for the printer and&nbsp; then&nbsp; after just 16 days it fails.oh SD says they will ship me a new one. I returned the old one, they got it Thursday.Should have shipped new one&nbsp; on Friday.lol I guess I&nbsp; could fry&nbsp; eggs on the build platform while I wait.</p>]]></content>
