I had such high hopes for a sharpie filament coloring adapter. So I set out to combine this colorizer with one of the filament guides to create a system to color natural filament while it is being pulled into the back of the solidoodler. I like this approach as it is super easy for anyone to use and you can continually switch out sharpies to different colors during the print. I also wanted that ease-of-use to be maintained while keeping the enclosure on to have the benefit of the heated build chamber.

But it looks like the sharpie formula does infact weaken the filament before it can feed into the extruder causing it to snap (this is the first time I have ever had filament snap on me). Might have to try one of the raised case designs to get this guy to work and stop using the official one.

I still want to try and add a spot for a third sharpie. It uses cmetzel's thread design and inside part.
