We sometimes use the glass in the shop, but it isn&#039;t a necessity by any means.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Reset Z stop is all and use binder clips in 3 places.&nbsp; When I was using binder clips I was using front right, front left, and rear left because the homing position and movement made the rear right get in the way from time to time.&nbsp; For the z stop I just turned my screw upside down and threaded it from the bottom, I adjust it by hand.&nbsp; But there&#039;s a modified one by lawsy at thingiverse here.&nbsp; <a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40701">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40701</a></p><p>I modified mine to use a larger glass plate with magnets which I don&#039;t know why more people don&#039;t do it.&nbsp; i just pop the glass off and slap another one on and go. Writeup here. <a href="http://www.soliforum.com/topic/814/magnetic-glass-bed-mounting/">http://www.soliforum.com/topic/814/magn … -mounting/</a></p><p>You can drop the bed temp a little if you want.&nbsp; I still shoot for 95C for prints I want to be careful with, but I&#039;ve printed at 65C (with enclosed build environment) and been fine.&nbsp; I even printed on a room temperature bed after repairing a clog just testing the hot end and it stuck fine with hairspray.</p>]]></content>

Or just buy a piece of glass and hairspray and print some clips to hold it down?</p><p>I assume I will have to reset the zstop or just change the z home position</p><p>What do you run the bed temp at to heat the glass up?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Glass &amp; Hairspray is the unnofficial official way to go.&nbsp; However I don&#039;t get mine popping off, but maybe I&#039;m using better hairspray.&nbsp; I still have to use a painters knife spatula thing to get them off.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Plus you can have more than one glass and swap them out. This allows you to keep the bed hot without having to cool down to get your part off without tearing the kapton on the bed.&nbsp; I just switched to glass and hairspray (needed to give something tacky for the plastic to stick to) and don&#039;t see my self going back.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Glass is better because 1) it is flat, 2) you can dig at it a bit without having to put down a new surface, and 3) my prints just pop off once the glass cools.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I bought a 100 foot of Kapton tape width of 20 centimeters on the Ebay for $25, and now I have no headaches. Yes, it is thinner than the one that is sold in Solidoodle, but at that price it can be changed at least every print.</p>]]></content>
