This is why this forum is the best. <br />I gave it a twice over from what you said and realised the reason it was happening is because my custom printed belt tensioner was way to close to the side cog causing it to not be able to get back home. <br />Thanks again! <br /><img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/big_smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="big_smile" /></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>The y axis limit switch should keep this from happening. Looking down from the top, along the left rail, towards the back you should see the optical switch. A portion of the left y carriage should slip between the sensors to stop the homing motion. If the switch isn&#039;t working, I believe the &quot;top closed&quot; switch is the same type and could be swapped to check.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[[Help requested] Extruder going too far back]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello<br />I have been lurking on this forum for a good while now whilst setting up my XYZ da vinci 1.0a running repetier. <br />I have ran into many issues and fixed them from help here but what i cannot seem to find is any help regarding when the extruder tries to return to its home position the motor keeps pulling it back causing it to click constantly until it realizes it cannot go any further back and stops. <br />I&#039;m worried this might burn a motor out or something can anyone point me in the direction of how to fix it.<br />Thank you<br />Jake</p>]]></content>
