			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Most of the chemicals that will dissolve PETG or PLA should not be used at home or even in a shop unless you have a hood to work under and no sources of ignition for the vapors that can travel very far. They are also not consider safe to even get a small wiff of so a respirator is advised as well.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>A phenol group is just a benzene ring with an OH (Hydroxyl group on it). There are a lot of chemical compounds that contain a phenol group.&nbsp; Carbolic acid can be purchased online but I bet it will attack more the just PETG. Doing a bit of quick googling shows that aromatic hydrocarbons will dissolve PETG. Aromatic compounds just mean it contains a benzene ring. Toluene might do it but without trying it I can&#039;t recommend anything and cannot advise you to try it.</p><p>Edit: It has been several years since organic chem so I am a bit rusty on some of this stuff.</p>]]></content>
