I have a design as well that I am looking for others to evaluate, suggest or even develop further if it is a viable design.

The Splicer design is mentioned in the group "3D Think Tank" on the http://3dprintboard.com/ website. Two half circles that close up tight. I have 2 ideas about how to go about making it. I'm going to mill one set and I'm gonna try to use a wire edm to cut the last one
