While trying to install vmware so i can use a vm to scan i came across an installation issue towards the end of the install. I tracked it down to WMI not starting and that took a few hours to fix eh.

Now opening XYZScan its blank with no buttons hmm

Windows 7 and up are very picky on what it allows to install and make changes to the main drive. So unless the program itself, not you has admin rights they sometimes will fail.

I am having an issue installing the software

I managed to get the driver installed and installed the program on VM and copied the files over to the main PC. It sort of run but then crashes

I really want to use the scanner

Any ideas? is their 3rd party software to use the scanner at least? XYZ has the worst support ever!
