I got a Da Vinci 1.0 Junior printer for Christmas so I'm kind of a noob when it comes to 3D printing. When you change the filament in this printer, the new plastic comes with a chip cosponsoring to the color and capacity of the material. I was wondering if that chip would affect my ability to use another brand (with a bigger spool and more color variation) in this printer. Does anybody know?
