Hmm, rotating CV counterclockwise should eventually start decreasing voltage. You can set the adjustments without having power on, they're potentiometers so they don't rely on power to determine position.

It is possible (though it hasn't happened yet to my knowledge) that the pot has failed. If you do 40 turns CCW and the voltage out doesn't change, then the pot has likely failed. I'd be happy to set up an exchange if that is the case, just get in touch via the contact link on the Filastruder page.

The display shows (voltage in) -> (voltage out) -> (current out) -> (power out in watts) -> (auto-cycle through the previous 4) -> (repeat at the beginning)

I was trying to decrease the extrusion, not raise the voltage above 12v. The LCD always displays 11.5v, with slight changes unrelated to anything I do. I tap the out button and it looks like it cycles through input/output voltage etc, but nothing appears to change. I am not hearing any clicks not matter how much I turn the CV counterclockwise.

Once I wire it back up I will try again, but one thing that would help is to know if the PWM can be programmed while no power is supplied to the board.

What voltage were you seeing? You can't exceed the input voltage using CV, it is a buck converter, not boost so output is always less than or equal to output.

I don't know why I said battery, I meant power. I opened up the gearbox, checked everything and put it back together, and it seems to be working fine now. I will re-wire everything and try the PWM again, I tried doing what was in the instructions but it didn't seem to change the voltage, at least the LCD display did not change.

CV and CC are set according to the instructions, by a number of turns.

You shouldn't hear any grinding, and there isn't a battery in a Filastruder? If you hear grinding with nothing attached to the output shaft of the gear motor, then the next step is to open up the gearbox and look for shredded gears. Typically this happens as a result of overload. If you have damaged gears, I have replacements available inexpensively - use the contact form on the Filastruder website.

I've searched and have not found an exact answer to my question. How exactly are you supposed to adjust the PWM board? I see two small screws under CV and CC. But when I turn CV counterclockwise, the LCD reading does not change at all. Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: Well, now my motor won't turn, and the LED for "full" is lighting up green. I have no idea what this means. Even when connected directly to the battery, it just makes a horrible grinding sound.
