The only measurement i can't be sure about is the y-axis length of the arm. I think the wood piece could be fine for the smaller cantaliever of the SD2, but I think over time it could be a week point for the SD3. I also plan on transporting mine between home and work, and don't want to have to worry about it. It seems to be working fine for most others in use, you just seemed to have some back luck during shipment. I haven't heard of it before yours. I did not compensate for the linear bearings or anything else yet. I'll post what I can figure out. I didnt want to remove my platform again to measure it, so it would be great if you could provide any measurments as well so we could compare it to improve accuracy. I'm hoping to have mine machined in alumunium so my design might change a little bit. I have contacted support and such to get a new part delivered, but in the mean time i am trying to make a CAD of the arm so i can print one off either in the future or to print one off at my place of work(I have access to a stratasys fortus 900 printer and Ultem 9085 material). I am having trouble finding the correct dimensions of the arm because of the condition and was wondering if anyone has an existing CAD or knowledge of the dimensions that they would not mind sharing with me.
