			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>i know with both of my SDs (and both of my Folgertech kits as well), when I first connect to RH, the numbers for the various axis are red, meaning it isn&#039;t sure where &quot;home&quot; is. clicking on the Home icon (lower left house - the blank one) establishes where &quot;home&quot; is, and I am then able to move each axis where ever I want to. </p><p>My usual start up procedure is:<br />turn on computer and printer<br />start RH<br />Connect to the printer<br />Click home<br />start bed heating</p>]]></content>

Can&#039;t really expect somebody to move if you drop them into a darkroom and tell them to move north now can you?</p><p>Just for the record had you clicked one of the house/home shaped buttons with an axis mark it probably had homed that axis without the restart needed. That forces it to move in the home direction assigned in firmware till it hits a home switch or times out..</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>On the newest RH I have found it does not always slice then automatically print. Sometimes you have to click load and load the sliced gcode then click print/run.</p><p>I now use Simplify3d so my RH knowledge is old.</p>]]></content>

That fan button is for a PWM controlled fan and is mapped to a specific port that you may not be using. </p><p>As for the movement, first make sure you start from home. If the printer cannot establish home it will not move. Put the head and bed in home position as Ward said by hand. Then shut down and restart everything. Connect with RH. Then try to move the axis by clicking the button inside the ring. Depending on which button you click it will move from 1mm per click all the way out to 100 mm per click.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Maybe it has something to do with the torture you&#039;ve been putting the firmware through the last couple weeks <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/wink.png" width="15" height="15" alt="wink" /><br />Do you know where to click to make an axis move? Or are you hoping it just does it magically on its own?<br />Try moving X and y by hand to the endstops then shut everything down including power and computer.&nbsp; Then start it all back up and see if that helps.</p>]]></content>
