I found the y-axis stepper motor bearing bracket is broken. Having a friend make me few out of aluminum so I'm out of commission for a bit. Not sure if that was causing all my problems. I also have to do something about my left x-axis support, the open one where the y-axis bearings snap in is not staying snapped in causing some x-axis displacement. When I get everything back together and operating, I will post settings. Hopefully this will remedy the issues. What setting should be posted? Slic3r config? Thanks.

I have recently taken the plunge and flashed my Davinci 1.0 with Repetier .92 using the old stock software. Flash was simple and went off without a hitch. Checked all the settings and installed slic3r and repetier host. I read many posts/manuals on settings for this printer using the new firmware and slic3r, to start printing. After a little trial and error I got the printer working. I calibrated all the steppers using a couple calibration prints and dialed in all the settings. Test prints look really good compared to the default software.

Now for the bad part. I have tried to print several prints off thingiverse, the slice looks good, but I get large (.5-1mm) gaps in the bottom layer infills. I have tried several different pieces and they all look the same, with infill gaps. I have read about changing infill parameters trying to fool slic3r into doing more overlap, but even those have not produced usable prints. I have tried cura slicer and revised the gcode to get it to print on the davinci with mixed results. One print was ok the other showed the same issue as slic3r.

Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
