			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>a UPS may, or may not, help - it really does depend a lot on what else is drawing on the circuit from the breaker panel. </p><p>a basic example: we cant run both our toaster oven and the microwave at the same time - too much draw on the same circuit and the breaker will trip</p><p>3D printers are much more sensitive to power draw issues</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I have a UPS as well.&nbsp; Frankly don&#039;t know if it has an AVR feature, but that did not prevent it from freaking out when the AC kicked in.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Make sure you check anything that is on the entire circuit that is shared with your office...not just the power strip.&nbsp; It might be multiple rooms.&nbsp; You can throw the circuit breaker to find out.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for the advice Carl and Ironman. I have my printer plugged in to the same power strip as my PC. I&#039;ll move it to it&#039;s own and do some tests. Thanks a ton for the help! I don&#039;t have anything large like an AC or heater it&#039;s just a small home office. </p><p>Thanks again!</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>^what he said...</p><p>I had a portable AC unit cooling my workspace in the summer.&nbsp; Kicking on and off would almost certainly freeze the printer with no apparent errors on RH.&nbsp; Put it on a different circuit and hasn&#039;t happened since.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Make sure the printer is not plugged into a AC mains circuit that has a fan, heater, or fluorescent light, or motor connected to it as well. When the power is removed from inductive loads such as these they send a surge back through the line and this sometimes cause things like these printers to freak out. You can hear what i mean if you have an audio system plugged into the same circuit as a ceiling fan and you turn the fan off. You will hear a pop in the audio system.</p><p>Many other things could cause this but we need to eliminate externals first.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;m having issues with my Solidoodle 4 where my printer will stop at a point and no longer responds to commands, but Repetier thinks the printer is still going at 100x speed.</p><p>I have tested with a new usb port, new usb cable, tested a number of repetier versions all with the same result.</p><p>50% of the time the print works perfectly. but the other 50% the print fails because of this reason. It will happen at different time during the print, it happens with different stl files, it happens with different slicers.</p><p>Has anyone else seen this before? I can add pictures and screenshots if that would help.</p>]]></content>
