I just cant imagine what Sam and Co are thinking. I bought my SD2 4 years ago and the horrible sales/service that started with the 1st announcement of the Press that still continues today is nothing like they where 4 years ago. if they cant see they have a huge problem to correct b4 moving forward or face mass litigation, then maybe they need to seek medical help as well. as this type of business behavior is suicide. grasping at straws they already burned will not help them in the least in reconciling consumer confidence let alone customers they already duped then abandoned. Sam desperately needs to consult a business reconstruction agency besides legal counsel. also since he renamed the same old repaired 'Press by adding a 2.0 after it. now China can start selling the 1st issue on their own since his contract on that has ended. maybe he should just liquidate any China made printers and stick with only Brooklyn manufactured printers while cleaning up the mess and in the future (if there is a future for Solidoodle).

seems most if not all Solidoodle printers ever sold are no longer supported other than sites like this forum and "hacker/builders" like orphans.

can anyone tell me I am wrong about this? if so this is the only place to do so, since no current employee of Solidoodle ever responds to complaints even here much less their so called contact means. Sam or whom ever owns Solidoodle ATM needs to make a public announcement and apology for all patrons to help us understand WTH is the deal.
I luckily decided not to fall for this mess 1.5 years ago so I can not truly say I know how those victimized by it feel. but I can sympathize as a previous purchaser that trusted the company b4 and after buying my SD2 and seeing others do the same up through the SD4 model until they got into bed with China like many others the last 25 years that I have seen with similar end results.

anyone seen the 3D printing documentary made recently which mostly follows the start and end of Makerbot's business problems? its on Amazon/Netflix and long as a feature film. it even has a cameo of Sam Cervantes being part of it. and shows many good and bad decisions made by such fast growth company's some sad and some bitter sweet with a few happy finishes for some competitors. and a few "what ever became of so and so?" spots.

I just felt this needed brought out with the holidays and all the 'BIG SALES' advertised like nothing is wrong. be careful spending money you may never enjoy again.
