Hi whilst I am waiting for Uriah on my wifi problem I thoght I would update the rpi but I get a message saying I cannot as I do not have permission must be root (or words to that affect) so can anyone explain how to do this as I am a total noobie at this. The reason I am trying to up date is I think the wifi driver is missing.

I would also like to say that the Atlas3D works fine and I am impressed by the scans that I have done following Pirvan,s instructions although I have not fully calibrated it yet as I would like to get the wifi working first so that I dont have to sit in on the floor in front of a 42 tv and it is not practical to have the ethernet cable all the time
Thanks in advance
Bill
