If so, what is the cleaning procedure?</p><p>I&#039;m nearly sold on getting one.</p></blockquote></div><p>If you meant how do you clean the melt filter?&nbsp; There are other posts on the topic, but simplistically, remove the nozzle (carefully while hot) the clean out any hit plastic with long nose pliers, and soak the melt filter in acetone (assuming abs) to clean fully.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>It&#039;s not that it accumulates inside the Filastruder, it&#039;s that it ends up in your filament. It can come from inside the pellets themselves, the cup you use to transfer to the hopper, etc. </p><p>You don&#039;t need circlip pliers, they&#039;re just easier than using regular pliers.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>My PA 747 turns slightly gray at higher temps. I use black colorant almost exclusively so I extrude at 191C anyways and it doesn&#039;t affect my prints. The filament turns uniformly light gray when over heated a bit. I was going to ask the same thing, do you have a melt filter? If so, has it been cleaned in a while?&nbsp; Grey streaks and printer jamming sounds like some sort of contaminant is inside your machine.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Are you using a melt filter nozzle?</p><p>You shouldn&#039;t ever have to trash a E3Dv6 nozzle btw, as you can soak in acetone and clean.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi folks,</p><p>I&#039;m extruding PA-747 at 180C. This is worked fine for a few months, but my prints have started to come out with stripes of grey discoloration.</p><p>Most recently I tried to print with a spool that was almost entirely grey filament, and my nozzle jammed (e3dv6) and had to be trashed.</p><p>What is going on here?</p><p>Thanks!!</p>]]></content>
