I've been keeping an eye on home 3D printers since back when they were called "Fabbers" and were prohibitively expensive.   Now that prices have gone down I have ordered a Solidoodle 3 to finally jump into the fray.

I'm a 28 year old single father/biomedical engineering student/costumer/prop maker/actor/human popsicle in Kentucky, USA.  I'm giddy like a school girl at the thought of being able to create so much with just one machine.
