			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>What is the eBay link? Are you certain they&#039;re an authorized distributor?</p><p>The solution is to not run your hotend into things. That part of the heat break is thin by necessity in order to limit heat transfer.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[E3D bent heat break]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>So in between prints the other day I started getting serious filament jams out of no where.&nbsp; &nbsp;This occurred immediately after a successful print.&nbsp; &nbsp;Suddenly filament just wouldn&#039;t feed. </p><p>I broke down my E3D head expecting to find some charred gunk or something but I was surprised to discover my heat break developed a kink.&nbsp; Just enough to keep the filament for feeding through. ..maybe a few degrees of deflection... </p><p>I found a US provider on ebay so replacements arrive today.&nbsp; &nbsp;The previous one lasted over a year but I don&#039;t really want to revisit this issue.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>A fluke perhaps?&nbsp; Can&#039;t find any example of this on the forum. <br />Any ideas why this might happen?&nbsp; I am occasionally guilty of dragging my hot end over a binder clip.<br />Any ideas about preventing it?&nbsp; &nbsp;Considering cutting some plywood to reinforce the joint between the heated block and the heat sink fins.</p>]]></content>
