It's 1.75 filament which is why I asked. Everywhere I've read online people have said that it clogs on smaller nozzles, but I can't (in my new to 3D printer world mind) figure out why this would be the case if I'm using correct size filament for the correct size nozzle. I got it from Jamie at 3dprintergear.com.au (he posts in the for sale section on here) which has it in both 1.75 and 3mm variants.

Again as a newbie, can I just order the .5mm nozzle and directly replace the existing one without any hassle (i.e. unscrew one and screw in the other)? I'm not quite so keen to replace the whole hot end (yet anyway .

I'm going to order a spare hot end incase I clog mine so I can keep it going, but I'm curious if anyone has printed with it with the stock .35mm SD nozzle and their experiences with it? Is it really that bad to print with?

You are definitely risking a clog if you are using anything that isn't 1.75 mm filament.
