To avoid issues with clogs, you should really lean towards a .5 nozzle. Others will work, until they clog wink .4 will work for a while, but theres no telling when it will clog, where as with the .5 its from my experience entirely a non issue (clogs with laywoo (or laybrick) that is)

Wood particles are too big for 0.35 . It's there on their website somewhere too

It does not. Need 0.5mm to ensure you dont get clogs.

the reason plastic doesn't usually notice the term right there usually? clog is that it doesn't have sold particles in it

Everywhere I've read online people have said that it clogs on smaller nozzles, but I can't (in my new to 3D printer world mind) figure out why this would be the case if I'm using correct size filament for the correct size nozzle. I got it from Jamie at 3dprintergear.com.au (he posts in the for sale section on here) which has it in both 1.75 and 3mm variants.

Again as a newbie, can I just order the .5mm nozzle and directly replace the existing one without any hassle (i.e. unscrew one and screw in the other)? I'm not quite so keen to replace the whole hot end (yet anyway wink.

You are definitely risking a clog if you are using anything that isn't 1.75 mm filament.

They ship fast, and include chocolate.  You could also print the Mk4 extruder to make it easy to swap out the hot ends.
