The modelrepair repair at least made it work and look vaguely like it should. </p><p>Suggestions on how to get the results to be cleaner? 			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>A note about Thingiverse. Unless you see printed models on the page done by others there is very good possibility that the model has so many errors that it cant be printed. You could try to run it through netfabb. You could also remove your base and see if the original will slice. Otherwise this is just a 3d render that somebody made with no clue what is needed for a model to be printed. This true with a high number of thingiverse items.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>So, I start with the model pre-slice, </p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://soliforum.com/i/?myJJ22Y.png" alt="http://soliforum.com/i/?myJJ22Y.png" /></span></p><p>and when I get the post slice preview, it&#039;s all hosed. </p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://soliforum.com/i/?0DNKdJj.png" alt="http://soliforum.com/i/?0DNKdJj.png" /></span></p><p>I got the original file from Thingiverse (I just added the base to it in Solidworks). </p><p>I&#039;m using high quality, slow, thick walls, and medium density (30%) settings.&nbsp; </p><p>Any help is welcome.</p>]]></content>
