I just got my SD3 yesterday and so far things have been pretty good. I do have a quick few questions that I think that someone here can easily answer.

1. The first few layers are a little wider than the rest (very minimal). I'm trying to print something that is pretty precise and was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this. Would making my temperature hotter or cooler help or could it be that the z axis is slightly out of alignment.

2. From some of the prints that I have done (and others that I have seen on here) there have been a few strands of plastic that go from one point to another. What is the best thing that can be done to minimize these? Would this be a temperature issue, a retraction issue, or both?

Thanks
