Hi,

I was thinking of doing the same but I want to keep the stock extruder in one piece just in-case i need it in the future.

I was thinking of removing the r29 resistor - Anyone know where it is?

I thought I found it by R27 but there seems to be nothing there...

This is of course only for printers with the standard 4.7k balancing resistor, which is not the case with the DaVinci.

The Vinci' has an extra resistor in the circuitry which gives it a reading completely different. The closest table I can find within the Repetier software is number 5.
