I have a similar issue with XP, which doesn't even recognize the printer as an arduino device (just an unknown USB device). I've managed to get it to print once. Ever since, it hasn't recognized the drivers. Still working on a fix. I don't suppose XYZ actually has tech support in the US that speaks english?

before i wiped and switched to 10 I had to go into device manager every time i used my printer, uninstall arduino device, refresh and it would work fine. Its not a problem with the printer, its a problem with windows not maintaining USB devices properly, particularly if you have alot of them plugged in.

I don't have the same exact issue as you but something similar. I do have issues with Windows 10 detecting an Arduino Due device instead of the printer if I reset or turn my printer on/off. It requires me to restart my computer so the printer is recognized again.

weird thing today, after a 20+ hrs print (which was fine) I fire up the rig but didn't hear the usb chime i use to hear when I turn the printer on, tried to connect via S3D and no joy... went to device manager and saw a "arduino due" device with the yellow thingy.... had to refresh the drivers to get the thing to work... is this something I should plan to expect? ( 1.0A running repetier 0.92 with E3d V6)... Thx in advance...
