I might be wrong.</p></blockquote></div><br /><p>After all else failed (6 times) when trying to print a small pointy part I put a fan in the Da Vinci blowing across the bed and printer head. It worked. No curling. No lifting. No deforming. It worked great.</p>]]></content>

Sorted. You really need a good draft to print something in&nbsp; PLA with lots of pointy bits quickly.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I used an external source for 12v, the davinci power supply is too shitty.&nbsp; I went with the ducted side fan design, but i havent actually used it as i have been using abs lately.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I thought of that. However I think I will go for plan B. I&#039;m going to print a side window and glue some strip LED lighting 5v versions to it. Then I can run out a line to a USB male connector.&nbsp; It can then be plugged direct in to a USB hub and take the power from there. That way it isn&#039;t permanent and can be removed any time</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://soliforum.com/i/?xNV3tul.jpg" alt="http://soliforum.com/i/?xNV3tul.jpg" /></span></p><p>I was going to just print this and drill a hole for the line out to USB .
