There are 2 options:

Option 1
Order Topics by Topic Date

This means that regardless of replies, new topics will always be at the top and will move down as new topics are posted.

Pros: Latest News always on top and easy to see whats newest.
Cons: Harder to follow older threads that may have discussion because new posts wont bump threads back to the top.

Option 2
Order topics by latest reply

Topics will be ordered by the latest reply (Just like the other sections). Posting a new reply will bump a topic back to the top.

Pros: Easier to follow topics that have active discussion
Cons: Harder to see what news is the latest/newest, because older topics/news are bumped to the top when there is a reply.
